The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce presented the Seventh Annual Festival on the Bay August 14, 15 and 16 in Petoskey, Michigan.
This year's festival offered something for everyone in your family. Music lovers were treated to over 23 hours of live music. Kids enjoyed outdoor crafts, a bounce house, and the dunk tank in the newly-located Children's Area. Vendors offered an array of foods and gifts to delight the visitors. For those that wanted to get out on the water, jiimaan (canoe), airboat, and kayak rides were a big draw. Those with a competitive nature participated in the Wellness Walk/Run and Petoskey's Epic Triathlon/Duathlon. Pennsylvania Park saw the return of the Big Arts & Crafts Show, which provided all sorts of unique gifts to take home.

Despite tough economic times in Michigan, you’ll find no shortage of fun at Petoskey’s Festival on the Bay. When the festival committee started their planning many months ago, they said “full speed ahead,” and they never looked back. Because of their determination and hard work, you will enjoy a weekend full of good music, great food, and abundant fun.
There is no way that I can say thank you enough times to those businesses and organizations that stepped up to be sponsors of the 2009 festival. It would have been easy for them to say “no” to our sponsorship requests in this difficult economy.
