Art for all tastes and pocketbooks!
A signature event of Petoskey's Festival on the Bay, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Arts & Crafts Show will once again take place downtown in Pennsylvania Park.
Nearly 60 artists and crafters from across Michigan will display their creative wares 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday, August 21.
A wide variety of arts and crafts for all tastes and prices will be available, including garden art, painting, jewelry, stonework, pottery, homemade body products and foods like syrup and honey, quilts, totes, clothing, woodwork, glass and rustic art.
The exhibition is growing, and there's still room for more. Interested artists and crafters may download and submit a registration form, along with slides or photographs of their work, and application fee of $20, and a booth fee of $95 by July 12, 2010. Or pay an additional $20 late fee by August 19, 2010. The Arts & Craft Show Committee will begin jurying all entries and send notification of acceptance by July 19. Booth fees will be held and refunded to any artist whose work is not accepted for exhibition. Questions regarding the show and registration may be directed to the local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency at (231) 946-2447, ext. 205, or
