Welcome back to Festival on the Bay. I say welcome back because I would wager that most of you reading this message have attended one or more of our seven previous festivals. From the feedback we're getting, Festival on the Bay has become a late-summer tradition for many of you, and that makes us very happy.

If you're experiencing Festival on the Bay for the first time, we're glad to have you here and hope you'll have a wonderful time. Our festival isn't your typical community festival. We've dispensed with the traditional parades and fireworks, and have settled into those things that we do well here in Petoskey: great food, great art, great music, and great views.

We encourage you to enjoy the festival as briskly, or as casually as you wish. Some of you will jump right into the active elements of the festival while others will use the event as a chance to kick back and relax and soak up the great surroundings. No matter how you approach the festival, we remind you to pause each evening to enjoy another Million Dollar Sunset over Little Traverse Bay.
